This image features a Red Panda photographed at the Pittsburgh Zoo, set into a landscape derived in part by taking a virtual photograph deep in the Asian wilderness that holds the last remaining population. By consulting the IUCN Red List I was able to find a remote valley where the animals currently reside. Pictured nearby are representations of the Himalayan Oak and Rhododendron, two plants the Red Panda would find as familiar as bamboo.
